During your 45-minute flight with a friendly, experienced instructor you will get to have a go on the controls and experience the sensations and thrill of flying. Tips for a Great Discovery Flight!
These tips will help you to enjoy your introduction flight with PathFinder Aviation:
- Eat normally beforehand
- Have plenty of water to drink
- No alcohol on the day, or the night before
- Wear comfortable clothes and closed in shoes
- Bring your sunnies and a cap
- Don’t forget your camera!
- Bring your voucher with you
- No need to arrive hours early, just at your appointed time is fine
- Relax, your instructor will do the take-off and landing
- Ask questions
Your highly trained and experienced instructor will be right there next to you throughout the flight, giving you instructions and answering any questions you may have.
If you decide to pursue further flying lessons with us, your Instructor will provide you with all the information you need to start your lessons.

If the weather is not going to be suitable we will contact you and reschedule your flight.
We reserve the right to refuse to fly with anyone who appears intoxicated.
This is not a scenic flight. Where we fly on the day is dependent on weather, airspace, training considerations and ATC requirements.
